Welcome to Our Living Project

a space dedicated to restoring balance between people, plants, and animals.

Rooted in agroecology and permaculture, we care for olive and pomegranate groves, protect native biodiversity, and explore practical ways to live more sustainably.

This is a place to grow, learn, and share solutions for the future.

Rooted in tradition, growing for the future.

Animal Sanctuary & Rescue

Already Caring for more than 36 rescued cats, 4 adopted dogs, and extending our efforts to endangered species such as turtles and tortoises. We offer medical care, sterilisation, and feeding stations for stray animals and we are committed to building a long-term vision for coexistence with regards of the local wildlife.

Eco-Farming & Land Regeneration

Restoring 200+ olive trees, regenerating soil, transforming an abandoned pomegranate monoculture (of 800 trees!) into a diverse, resilient ecosystem and giving back farmlands used for monocultures to local wildlife. We use sustainable methods like pollarding, rainwater harvesting and improving water retention, and local plant reintroduction.

Community, Research & Education

Creating a space to learn, experiment, and grow. We’re developing fire safety plans, soil regeneration strategies, and nature-based solutions. In addition to offering collaboration with Woof, soon we are planning to host workshops, internships, and Erasmus+ volunteers.

Your energy can help us grow. Choose how you want to be part of the change:

Sponsor an Animal

Support the medical care, food, and well-being of our rescued animals.

• Donate for food, medical aid and care

• Choose to adopt

• sponsor a specific friend, for example:

Aris - Living with leishmaniasis

Ira - On a special kidney diet and medication

You’ll receive updates and stories from their daily life and be part of their healing journey.

Seed & Soil Supporter

Contribute to the regeneration of our land:

• Help us reforest with native plants

• Support rainwater systems and fire-resilient terraces

• Share or donate rare seeds and herbs

• Choose to sponsor one of the over 300 years old Olive trees or other trees in the area

• Volunteer or Woof with us!

Community Builder

Fund our educational, research, and community efforts:

• Support infrastructure for workshops and internships

• Help us expand feeding stations and sterilisation work

• Collaborate on protecting local biodiversity and habitats

The more support we receive, the more impact we can create - for nature, for animals, and for future generations.

know us

We’re a family in the third generation of caring for this land, slowly transforming it into a space for nature to thrive.

Our work blends lost ancient knowledge with new ideas and technology - from fire protection and water harvesting to biodiversity support and natural farming.

We live alongside 36 cats and 4 dogs who joined us over the years, and they’re very much part of the team.
